World & Humanitarian Photographer

Photography has always been my way of telling stories. Ever since I, as a nine-year old boy, got my first Instamatic (well, it was actually the Agfa equivalent), I have been fascinated by the media’s ability to express complex realities and visually make sense of the world in layers of understanding. Today, as a photojournalist and documentary photographer I more than ever rely on being able to tell stories through my photography. Does my work have any impact on the turning of the world? Most likely not, but what is important for me is to give voice to those that otherwise won’t get to tell their story.
